The university of Cape Coast through its Institute of Education announced admissions into some of it’s major sandwich programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The announcements were made earlier in the year 2024 to create the awareness for interested persons and the general public at large.
Forms for the two major undergraduate programmes offered by the institute are out and available for purchase at the various sales centres across the country.
The programmes include the 3-Semester Bachelor of Education sandwich programme and the 5-Semester Bachelor of Education sandwich programme.
The 3-Semester Sandwich Programme
The three-semester sandwich programme is an undergraduate Bachelor of Education programme that covers three sandwich semesters. Its purpose is to aid basic schoolteachers who want to upgrade to the bachelor’s degree level. Read more about the three-semester programme here.
Courses offered under the three-semester undergraduate programme include Bachelor of Education Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Education Primary Education and Bachelor of Education Junior High School Education.

The 5-Semester Sandwich programme
Another undergraduate programme offered by the institute is five semester education programmes.
The five-semester sandwich programme is a Bachelor of Education sandwich programme that runs for five long sandwich semesters.
The programme is run during vacations to enable interested applicants who are basic school teachers to acquire a bachelors degree. It also provides the opportunity for basic schoolteachers to acquire the necessary training to teach at the senior high school level. Read more here

Interested applicants should go ahead to purchase an application e-voucher at any of the sales centres announced across the country and proceed to the online admissions portal at topup.ucc.edu.gh to access the online application form.
