About the Programme
The University of Cape Coast (UCC), in partnership with the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), offers a 3-Semester Bachelor of Education (Post-Diploma in Basic Education) programme. Designed for holders of the Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), this programme allows participants to upgrade their qualifications and earn a Bachelor’s degree in Basic Education.
The programme is spread over three long vacation periods, each lasting eight weeks. It takes place during school vacations, so teachers do not need to take a study leave to participate. The course delivery combines face-to-face teaching with online learning, ensuring that the full curriculum is covered within the set timeframe.
