Online Application Procedure for Colleges of Education

The Conference of principals of Colleges of Education calls for applications into their Four-Year Bachelor of Education for 2025/2026 academic year. Below is the online application procedure into the 46 public colleges of education in Ghana.

How to Acquire the Online Application Voucher

  1. Payment of Application Fee
    Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Three Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS350.00) using one of the following methods:
    • Bank Payment:
      Visit any branch of Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) Limited and make the payment into the Colleges of Education, Ghana account.
    • Mobile Money Payment:
      Dial 9248# on any network (MTN Mobile Money, Vodafone Cash, Airtel Money, or Tigo Cash) and follow the prompts to complete the payment.
  2. After Payment
    Upon successful payment, applicants will receive the following details:

GUIDELINES FOR COMPLETING THE ONLINE APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Accessing the Application Portal
    • Visit the Colleges of Education admission website at https://admission.coeportal.edu.gh using your PIN.
    • Follow the instructions carefully to complete the online application form.
  2. Understanding the Application Requirements
    • Read all instructions thoroughly, especially details about the programmes offered by each college, before filling out the form.
    • Incomplete or incorrectly filled application forms will not be processed.
  3. College and Programme Selection
    • Select your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of Colleges of Education in order of preference.
    • You must also choose one Ghanaian language offered at your selected college.
  4. Submission of Documents
    • After completing the online form, print a copy of the application.
    • Submit it along with:
      • One passport-sized photograph
      • A copy/copies of your results slip(s) (if available)
    • Use an EMS priority envelope (available at Ghana Post) and address it to:
      The Principal of your first-choice College.
  5. Communication and Notifications
    • Provide a valid and reliable mobile phone number.
    • You will receive an SMS confirmation when your application is received.
    • Admission notifications will also be sent via SMS. If you do not receive one, your application may have been unsuccessful.
  6. Verification of Results
    • All submitted results will be verified with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
    • Submission of fake or altered documents will lead to legal action.
